Give it a few days and try again. I think your opening sounds a little too invested especially with the exclamation mark. An opening that I use with surprising success is “Save this number, it’s the most important one you’ll get all day/night.” They almost always respond.

Personally I don't actually care if they respond or not. If I'm feeling social and playful, I'll occasionally send them something funny later, but if still no reply, no worries, I just move on. After all I'm busy, why wouldn't she be?

How are you exchanging numbers? One way is to have her put her name and number in your phone and have her text herself and you do likewise on her phone.

Secondly, your interaction should be very memorable to her, so she wants to text you again. More importantly, meet again.

None of this "nice meeting you last night" a day later.

When you meet a woman, make a remark on something you can use later on.

For example, I met a woman at a pharmacy last week. Her shirt had a picture of the woman from Thor that was a king. It had the word “queen” crossed out and king at the bottom. I made a remark about it, we discussed it and I got her number .

A day later, I simply texted “wasn’t exactly sure about this Woman King movie coming out but could be fun with someone passionate about the subject”

She responded with excitement and we have a date planned. What would I do if she’s didn’t reply? Nothing.

The point is find something that’ll get her to want to text back. Always find something in real life to text about later. Simply “it was nice meeting you” might do it for some but for others, would just get lost in the other messages.

You can text again, but it needs to be totally different. You could go the just chatting way. Memes. TV shows. It's not going to work most of the time. Sometimes very slow is the approach, but not usually.

Best approach is to actually go do something and invite her along. If she doesn't come, you get to do something cool. If she does, you look great because now you are both doing something cool. Caveat is actually do something cool.
