Yeah that's the way to do it in the gym i think, i've done similar several times (but without the goal of hooking up) where maybe they didnt know how to set up a machine or the pin locks were seized, more the mechanical side of things. And then i noticed them sort of watching me afterward or greeting me next time we were both there. I think the 'trying to give her advice on how to train' is pretty obvious and cliché

That's exactly how you do it. Not forcing, just going with it. Try too hard and they'll notice that.

If you're afraid to make things awkward at the gym, then just don't go direct with her. Go completely indirect, make it seem like you're just being friendly and get her IG instead of her number. Next time you see her, ask her how her week/weekend is going, have a little conversation, and then just say "hey we should connect on instagram, what's yours?"

Then when you start DMing her, you can get a better vibe for whether or not she's actually into you (if you're still not 100% sure in person).

Has anyone actually figured out how to approach and successfully land at the gym without screwing it up?😂 because my gym is like a sanctuary and if I make it awkward and have to see that person every day idk what I’ll do. This is why I’ve only cold approached at grocery stores, mall, and my university.

I think that this may have been better than having asked for the number in your first interaction. If you were thinking of asking for the number while you were helping her, your interaction could have been less genuine. The gym is a good place to not hurry for the number because probably you two go there more or less regularly, at the same schedule, so it's probable that you'll see each other again soon. And now you'll be more prepared and it will probably be smoother

Bro here in India, I approached a girl in my gym and the next day the management told me that someone complaint against me. It was the girl I approached said i was trying to talk to her. Btw I asked her if she is new to this gym, I asked what her name was and I didn't flirt with her or even asked anything offtopic like do you study or work etc. Still she somehow got uncomfortable and complaint against me lmao

I just dropped it there and went back to my exercise. I don't find the gym to be a place to approach women and ask for their number.

Fix your mindset - see a girl you like - go shoot your shot.

What you lack is how to calibrate your approach to a gym environment.

Or feel free to make excuses on .. I don't think the gym/grocery store/coffee shop/library/book store/everywhere else is a place to talk to women.
