In /r/seduction and /r/askseddit we often see questions relating to "text game," asking for help on how better to engage a girl via text or IM to keep her interest up.

Fact is, most of us would recommend that if you want to keep a girl's interest level up, you absolutely stay away from conversing with her via text or IM. This includes Facebook messaging. In most cases,<sup>1</sup> every message you send to a girl will decrease her level of attraction to you. Most PUAs would recommend that you use texting only to facilitate a face-to-face interaction with a girl. It goes without saying that the best way to increase a girl's attraction level is by direct interaction—i.e. in person.

 

 

<sup>1</sup> I say in most cases because it IS possible to use texting to keep a girl at a simmer or even a roiling boil if you're being sexual. But in those cases, you already have to have a certain rapport level with the girl (and/or have already slept with her), and she's already likely to have a higher attraction level toward you by then anyway.
