Yeah, getting a solid morning together really is a major boost. I'm looking to start doing morning workouts, though being perfectly honest I still have trouble getting up as early as I logically intend to. What time do you go to bed at?

I was trying to find the motivation for daily meditation for a while. Read lots of books, but the one that really got me going was Mastering the Core Teachings of the Buddha. Give it a look! You'll eventually move beyond it's style but it's great to get you to realize exactly what you need to do in order to see results.

I've been working out for almost an year. 3-4 days a week. I work for a very very respectable company and earn a 6 figure income. I meditate 10mins everyday and do a breathold later for about 3 minutes. I do extreme sports on weekends and take a huge interest in science and technology. Its been 2 months since I've broken up and haven't had a single kiss since then.

One thing I've come to realize on seddit is that everyone slightly has a different game. Although this are great habits to have, its not a guaranteed win and we shouldn't be comparing ourselves to you. He did X and got Y results therefore I should get Y results. I've just made a mistake of comparing myself to others and its just bought my self-esteem quite low.

Great list -- I do all of the above except meditation. I'm skeptical about the effectiveness of meditation. Would someone kindly link me to a programme (for a beginner) or tell me what's the benefits with meditation? As an introverted/thinker type of guy, most of the times I'm already at peace as I contemplate about the more philosophical nature of the world during bus rides and before sleep, so I don't necessarily NEED meditation. However, I've seen it appear on reddit a lot and, with too much free time on my hands, I figured it's worth a shot!

Great stuff. I also have a list of things I do every week: meditate (7 times/week), stretch (7 times/week), excercise (5 times/week), day game (at least 2 times/week). Started with excercise but have implemented more and more as time went on.

Any tips you use on actually getting out of bed at that time? I can wake up, no problem, but I never seem to get out of bed so I just go back to sleep.

IMO: The unsung truth here is the "in an LTR and then becoming needy" part. Man, I have done the same thing. Sometimes it's hard to maintain when you feel like youve already arrived.

Every one seems to be caught up on the morning exercise. That won't work for everyone's schedule. You don't NEED to workout in the morning, you just need to make it a routine, just as you make waking up with a positive mindset a routine. Early workouts just happen to further both of those goals. Notice the OP doesn't even suggest you have to workout early.

everywhere I visit on reddit for self improvement, I read about Meditation...I've tried it, but haven't seen any benefit...I've browsed /r/Meditation but can't truly find what I need to know to get it done...any suggestions?

This is awesome that you have the discipline to get an early start and accomplish shit, it's what I'm working towards to revamp my life. Right now as far as self-improvement goes I'm working on /r/nofap /r/pornfree and /r/learnprogramming.

also in my free time I'm trying to learn an instrument and learn a language. slow but steady process!

I like this post and it's motivating. I find it weird that you think weight training is more important than meditation (not the what comes first, but your statement itself). Like, you think if you go a day without WT first and then another without meditation, which would be more fruitful?

Anyways, another Q: In one of your past 'submits' you say on the r/meditation that meditation hasn't paid you off yet. Here you are happy with the results of your daily ritual. So, how long until you started seeing results of f-closing six women?

Already working out and studying for career advancement.

I also lurk over in /r/psychology and look for happiness post and how to hack happiness for my inner game.

Acquiring a new skills is always fun and inner game ish imo.
