You can probably tell I'm inexperienced, simply by the fact I'm asking this question in the first place.

However, I find it quite hard to imagine that if some random, average looking guy walked up to me, started making conversation and trying to flirt, I'd probably want him to fuck off as I'd be creeped out.

Compare this to a handsome guy, and I don't see any reason for why a woman wouldn't choose him instead.

If two women walked over to me out of the blue, I'd be much more willing to give the better looking one a chance, like 99% of the time unless she's a bitch or something. Luckily, most people aren't dicks by default.

Am I crazy for believing this? Because every avarage looking guy I know who has a GF or sleeps around didn't do it by cold approach, they did it by having a social circle and having their name mentioned in a positive light.
