A good number of Barney's routines are too desperate imo. Most PUA material is about openers being casual. Unless you established yourself as an alpha male and the "cool guy" in that environment, your standing out with this routine could get you laughed at for being different.

Doesnt seem like a good plan to me. In real life that girl would have said something like no, not really. Then you have to eat dinner straight from the plate, shake hands with your feet and nevermind fapping later on with those things written on your hands.

Barney's actually a good example of someone who shows persistence. He does some chodey tactics when he looses state, but he really has the ideal "can-do" attitude that gets him from the bar to the bedroom.

I used something similar before. I would start chatting a girl up and jokingly say

"You know, I know exactly what you're thinking about, I can read minds"

She would look shocked at first then playfully I would say:

"You're thinking: I wonder what he's going to say!"

Usually gets a laugh or two.

Have Barney's swagger. Dont be Barney and dont follow his routines. Barney is a fictional character as are his openers. One of the tenets of this community is to be yourself.
