Another example of what I call a her focused conversation. You just keep asking her small talk question after small talk question, never imposing YOUR OWN opinions, beliefs, experiences, and personality on the chat.

You spent 95 percent of the of the chat talking about gaming, not understanding that while this can be a starting point, you need to move on from it. You claim you're not even a "big time gamer," so why are you stuck on this one topic, rather than talking about something else? And here's the crazy thing: Despite spending all of this chat talking about gaming (with a bit of TV thrown in), you did not tell her a single game or TV show YOU liked. Nor did you suggest that you and her play one together. You're just a faceless interviewer, asking her questions anyone can ask and not building on anything to create a real emotional connection.

Flirtation involves a conversation about YOU and HER, not third parties or ideas. It really doesn't take much. But it does require a shift in your thinking. Yes, it's fine to be curious about her. But I'm equally as interested in expressing myself, being playfully challenging, and seeing if she can handle my unique perspectives on the world. Also, at some point sooner rather than later, you need to ask her out. But there's no sense you're any closer to doing that in your last message than you were in your first.

Finally, you need to lighten up. If you communicate with women in a hyperformal way, that's the energy you get back. But if you're playful and start assuming familiarity, interested women will mirror this. Strip away pointless pleasantries like "good morning" which mean nothing until she's actually invested in you.

It sounds like you're just trying to be friends with her. Texting should really just be a way of setting up a date. I stole this line from Playing with Fire but I often like to open with "So I guess we're dating now". This comes across as a fun and flirty joke but can also be read as a cocky way of assuming we are already dating. They usually respond with something like "I guess so ;)". Then, I ask about their interest but I tie it back to us. So if I see she's a gamer I'd ask her if she's ever played insert local multiplayer game here. Whether she likes the game or hasn't played it before, I'll tell her "Now I know what to do for our date." Confidently assuming that we are going on a date instead of asking her to avoid sounding needy. Now you have a perfect excuse to bring her back to your place, to play a game together, so she won't feel like a slut. She might not feel comfortable with going directly to your place right away so you can figure out somewhere to meet publicly beforehand. Probably get some drinks and then get to know her more in person.

It feels like you are making interview for some poll. If you like to ask questions, they need to be more personal, interesting and triggering emotions. Also, you need to set your mind for naturally leading to your sexual interest.

You always want to come from a natural place of what feels right in the moment, that way you’re being authentic. Connecting to your feelings can help guide you. For me when I’m feeling confident it’s so much easier to just know what to say.

Like everyone else said, be playful, tease etc.

I recommend next time guiding the conversation in a different direction, that will instantly make it more exciting. If you look at the tone of the conversation it mostly stays on the friendly level around games/movies. You can get creative with bringing it somewhere else.

Just have fun and try to find a balance. Be aware too if you’re always “trying” to get a response out of her or make her like you. Just let it happen. Maybe pullback a little when she shows interest. It’s a push and pull dynamic. You don’t wanna just be push push push 😳 if that makes sense

A good conversation depends on 2 people wanting to chat. If the person you are chatting with is not engagin, just open more sets, meet more people, participate in new groupes with interests that suit you!

So I've got a few questions... is this person local where you could eventually potentially meet or just virtual where you are trying to make friends and possibly a connection?

I ask because I'm wondering if the context, from her perspective, is if this is just online friends chatting or if the "online venue" is set up for meeting romantic partners. Because if she will never meet you, she probably is not going to really consider actual flirting. She would likely just be nice and fun.

But, to make your text less boring, use the game to lead into related questions about her. Does she run into danger a lot in the game? Point that out and ask her if she is like that in real life too. Look for personality traits and ask about those. Then share some about yourself too so there is the conversational back and forth that feels balanced.

Honestly your not moving things forward or in a sexual context or anything at all ... shes going to see you just another dude. you need to change her reality and make it a fun experience even if she is shy she wants someone who can get her out of her shell.

Even shy girls love sex and since she is a game I'm sure a ton of guys want to fuck her.

I would ask her for a short date and if you get along you can take her on the adventure of a lifetime maybe magic mountain, mini golf, or tons of other things (just not the movies)
