A guy I really like at my gym had tried to say hi to me during stretches but I was way too shy at the time, I had sworn off dating for 1 1/2 years because of some really bad relationships and he was the first guy I became interested in but didn’t know how to react when he was equally as shy but trying to make an effort. Now I see him almost every day and we both check each other out but neither of us say anything and I wish he would say something again.

i would definitely suggest you be careful with hittingo on girls at a gym you go to frequently. it's like the "don't shit where you eat" mentality. Having said that, I've done it and it's worked BUT once that fling ended it was tough pushing past the reputation of being that guy.

I love meeting people in person, what kills me though is that the girl I'm talking to currently I met online, and while I know I shouldn't feel this way, I somewhat feel like she's "less" impressive, or our story is "less" cute because it happened that way. Not to mention I've gotten SOOO much better at picking up women in the past year or so that I almost feel like my effort to gain that confidence has been wasted.

I am glad I am online to say this but I think girls are giving people all types of signals to approach. But most of the are uggo's or maybe too hot that you read it wrong. So just approach everyone. At worst you get toughened up.

Good job man, but remember what else Todd V and Mystery say: Have abundance. Don't get clinged on that one girl however awesome she might seem. Have the attitude of not caring too much, you're going your way and she follows if she wants. So in a scenario that she stops responding/investing in the relationship between you two, immediately move on, without necessarily taking her out of your life, but do not waste time and effort.
