I have always been most successful when walking that thin line between tipsy and drunk. Just tipsy enough to have lower inhibitions and be my best self, but not drunk enough that I can't form proper sentences (I also get whiskey dick, so that's a factor as well).

That being said, I started emulating my tipsy self when I go out, conquering my approach anxiety in the process.

All that to say, alcohol helps to approach, but also shows you how to approach.

The fact that you’ve realised you’ve missed opportunities is a good thing because that means you now believe you would of had a chance if you acted. A lot of guys think “why would she pick me out of all the guys here?” So they never even attempt to pull and so whatever chance they would have had goes to zero.

This is a positive thing because you now have a better, more accurate opinion of yourself so don’t dwell on the missed opportunities but look to the future with hope through a newfound, more confident lens.

Making out in a club and stuff becomes par for the course. I was once at a dog park getting close to closing time. I sat down next to a chick and she gave me this look like "I just want someone now". We started talking, I noticed she had had a spinal fusion once in her life (my first wife had to have that same surgery done). She asked if I wanted to touch her scar. I did and then next thing I know we are making out and more until the Park Ranger came with her flash light and told us it's time to take our dogs and go. Apparently she had been trying to get our attention for a bit prior to coming inside the park lol.

Unfortunately, my pay grade was less than she and her friends were expecting and although we had a couple more fun times I stopped calling out of being insulted for not making higher figure money.
