I see that you're getting some negative comments, but it really is this simple.

First, the more chicks you talk to, the better you will get. It's like a video game. Even if you know the rules, you'll probably suck at first. Repetition is the only way to improve. If you suffer blowout after blowout, that's probably an indication that you need to change your strategy. You need upgrades. Get a haircut. Get some fashionable clothes. Go to the gym. Read more books. Improve your body language, etc.

Second, even if you say all of the right things, you won't vibe with every girl. Our genetics and upbringing largely determine the type of people we click with. If you want to find the ideal partner, you're going to have to weed through a lot of less-than-ideal ones first.

Overcoming anxiety is 90% of the game. Unfortunately, it's easier said than done.

You're missing the 'small talk' - 'sex' link. Plenty of guys can make small talk. Fewer can direct and layer the small talk over sexual undertones and move the interaction to sex.

I used to work with a guy who was obese, bald, and the top of his head came to a point like a cone. He wasn't very charismatic, but god damn he was tenacious. We would go to lunch in a public place downtown, and I would watch him spend 20 minutes bouncing from woman to woman, getting rejected over and over. This is nonsense. PUA isn't about throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks. Talking to 1000 girls will make you better, so the advice would work either ways. But it's not just "a numbers game."
