The problem is that women were complaining about being approached by guys who they weren’t attracted to. Everyone just assumed that they meant all guys when they said they didn’t want to be approached.

Girls wants the guys, they have a crush on, to approach them (Edit: these guys are rare). They don't want guys, they are not attracted to, to approach them (guys who behave like creeps) (Edit: And there is a lot of these guys. The hotter the girl is the more of these guys she interacts with, since she was 12 years old, at a daily bases)

- The difference is we are understanding more and more what makes a girl categorizes a guy as creepy. That we are learning that it is more than physical looks and/or status.... but more the behavior that makes the girl welcome a guy's approach.

I think men do still approach, just only the top tier girls. They are absolutely flooded.

The women complaining that men don’t approach are usually just undesirable (older, fatter, uglier).

I’m dating a girl who’s fairly good looking, and the amount of attention she gets is unfathomable to men.

Be wary of attributing changes you see on line to actual changes. You algorithm knows you’re more interested in that type of content with those kinds of conversations and is feeding it to you to keep you engaged and it’s obviously working.

MeToo was a massive movement that swung way too far, as movements often due.

it took a decade for us to get to the point where there's enough noise about wanting guys to approach IRL from app fatigue.

I think some of it is natural correction and some of it is people pushing back on social change. Apps have accelerated a lot of trends that a lot of people aren't happy about.

another factor for sure was that one way to take a loser and get him over the hump was just reps and getting him to overcome rejection like he's Elder Smith on a Mormon mission.

I think now with apps being so strong, it's a better ROI for most guys focus on that instead of doing cold approaches. the downside is that you have to learn a lot more (how to make a good profile, how to text, how to setup a good date, how to esclate, etc) vs just asking 1000 girls "you're hot, wanna fuck?" and maybe getting 3 that say yes

Apps really do not reward brute-forcing things, so guys have to learn new pathways

2014 was a different climate.

Lairs were still a thing and you had mobs of 10 - 15 guys all approaching the same woman to “prove” who was the best. I know in Nottingham UK there were at least 3 lairs doing daygame every Saturday like clockwork. So that is about 25 - 45 guys all doing the Yad stop on the same women every Saturday.

Guys were watching RSD en masse, every time a new video came out such as “The claw”, 100s of guys would be trying it.

I am happy the community has moved underground.

RSD made it too big and too mainstream.

Anyway thats what mostly put me off daygame, it was like a war zone.

Night game never really suffered as badly despite RSD.

I know the only time I got called out was tge fact I unknowingly ran routines and stuff on the girlfriend of a coach who coached our lair for free and taught said routines and stuff.

The only guy I know who got called out and banned from a bar, ping ponged from woman to woman and got his “reps” in. Hardly subtle or under the radar.

Its NOT nearly as big as they make it and I always kinda of counter this as women ONLY want you approaching in my experience unless you're a better friend or acquaintance.

Absoltuely cold approach is still dead.

Women keep saying they want organic but I tend to KEEP seeing for years that isn't true, outside of "prevetted organic" connections.

I've done cold approaches in 2014 and 2026 and never felt any difference in sentiment from people in the real world.

The online sphere is a different thing, it lives on it's own buble.

I don't know, cold approach never worked out well for me. I talked with friends, I read stuff online. I learned that maybe I am not "present" enough. So I looked up what being present meant, nothing much changed. Then I learned that maybe my body language was saying something different than I was saying. So I worked on not having closed off body language, and nothing much changed. Then I learned that maybe I wasn't congruent enough.... nothing much changed.

Cold approach may work if you are really good looking, or you are the salesman type who enjoys the "convincing" part of interaction. I love a good convo, as much as anyone else, but you must get there and the other person must be willing to open up, if they don't it'll be awkward or it will slide into interview mode. As for being congruent, It's a good advice, but to be frank, most of us have only one goal in mind, and you can't be like "hey, you are pretty, I wanna bone you". Yes, if you are looking for an relationship, you wanna a partner who is compatibile with you personality wise, but you don't walk up to a woman because you like her personality, you don't know if she has one. You also don't walk up to her thinking she is your ideal woman, cause that's projection. You are attracted to her and want to have sex.

Body language is useless too, it's good to know, but won't do you any good, if the person you talking to never even heard about it.

Best approach for me is setting up a good instagram OLD profile, which represents me, then hitting up matches or shooting some shit on the stories of women I like, then go out to do my thing and wait. If she replies, then we get convo going, meet from there and from there it's the same, except she now wants to interact with you.
