Out of 1+ year of living socially, I've seen just 1 guy doing daygame type routine (it was at night though). He was likely a natural because he was acting like an uncalibrated asshole who didn't understand that being friendly with a venue owner is important. The only people actually cold approaching in my city in Russia are bank salesmen and street photographers.

One of the girls I know has complained that she was getting catcalled and then chased after by some dumb chumps during the day, but that's not gaming, just being rapists who ruined her time and scared her.

Really depends on the location. Where I live i wouldn't be surprised at all if I'm the first guy who does it. It's widely frowned upon to talk to strangers in public here. You first have to get past the "I promise I'm not a total weirdo for Breaking This cultural norm" part before they will even talk to you.

They shouldn’t be giving you overt compliments if you are in the seduction frame. They should be keeping quiet on follower mode. This is pseudo attraction for the simple reason it takes the value off of you and puts it into the act of approaching.

To answer your question. Girls get hit on constantly from different strategies. When they say they “didnt got approached” they can be 1) lying 2) didnt realise it is an approach 3) if the guy is ugly it doesnt count right ? . And even if it is true for the street, they have been hit on 1000 other times in other settings

where i am living, i see a lot of men cold approaching women during the day so i do not think it is rare.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was rare. Constant cell phone use has eroded the parts of our brains that use social cognition (it's also why so many of us are angry bastards on here) so we don't really know how to talk to strangers anymore and have an overwhelming sense of social anxiety.

location matters. Way more common in some places than others

I'm in the UK. I know girls who are HOT AF and they've never ever been approached in the day, and only very rarely at night I (the only 'approaches' they get are basically if they are dancing in a club, guys will come up behind them and try to rub their wang on the girls butts to see if she's interested or not)

How about India? I am afraid that in the conservative country like India how will lady treat our cold approach. I have done some and those were pretty good. But open for opinion.
