Here's the best one-size fits all solution I can offer:

Go out regularly and interact with women (at least 3 days a week)
Look your best; eat healthy and workout.
Have good hygiene.
Practice, reflect, make adjustments, practice some more, reflect, make more adjustments, practice even more, reflect, make adjustments, etc.

That's really all you need. All other advice and pickup products are just a nice bonus. Don't clutter your mind too much though, keep it simple.

I think your post is misguided. If you care enough about picking up chicks to frequent here, you need to live in a city even if it's small. If you're not completely independent, that should probably take priority over chasing chicks, a topic I've seen addressed here often, because that's one of the biggest things to boost your game you can do. Nobody prefers a dude that lives with his mom to a dude that has a studio downtown or a house in the country - unless your mother lives in your house.

If you live in Mormon town full of bible thumpers, you obviously know that's a problem and aren't going to be 'picking up chicks' there, and no advice given here besides "move" is going to help that.

This is an extremely new school pickup style community, with a huge focus on inner game and being a better version of yourself to attract women naturally in any situation. In contrast to old school PUA methodology which is the often maligned strategy of using routines/mind games/manipulation in an attempt to trick women into sleeping with you.

Yeah, having background info is nice, but most of the questions people ask here are unanswerable with any amount of information, which is why you should always fall back on just being awesome and doing your thing rather than trying to find the correct way to interact with a particular person in a specific setting.

Also, not everyone is going to type out an essay like I am right now. Honestly I think you're an AFC that's posting out of frustration with pickup as a whole and not our advice.

There is a whole industry of niche pickup products. Old guys, young guys, ethnic guys, metropolitans, farmers, nerds, hipsters, kinksters, whatever the fuck niche you can think of, there are commercial products for it. If anything, there are too many niche products, which obscures the basic facts common to all pickup scenarios:

Approach and interact with women.
Escalate.
Have fun.

I would say that my biggest problem is that the rules of PUA aren't 100%. So guys are like "o darn I messed up during the approach". "oops messed up in the comforting part." "darn should have done X and it would have worked".

This isn't a board game with a set of rules that each person has to follow to get to point V (her vagina). Many times you do all this crap right and end up going nowhere.

Agreed for the most part. One of the most important concepts in all this is congruence... the suggested opener or escalation strategy or whatever we give a guy, might not be congruent to his personality.

I think the individuals ability to apply another experience to his own routine is a given factor. It is a core trait required for life, I would not imagine anyone here is expecting a one size fits all with that in mind.

Why would you be on /r/seduction if you're a bible thumper? If you're not a bible thumper, why are you living in such a place? "Because I'm complacent" or "because it's where I've always lived" are bad answers.

Solution: move to a big city and establish independence. That's just part of the game, and will help you as much as having good fashion or any of that crap. You don't have to live in a city, and you also don't have to dress well, have a job, be social or do anything else in particular. All this stuff just improves your chances, and some guys get lucky without it.

This doesn't matter. Both types of guys should be doing similar things. If you just want a girlfriend, you should still be casting a wide net- you need to establish the ability to get laid a lot even if that's not your end goal. This way, you have options, and you can pick a girl that's right for you instead of being stuck with whoever will accept you or whoever you happen to get attached to first.
