I think the take away message here is that some people treat this too much like a video game.

Say for example when you first started playing counter strike and you got your ass handed to you every damn time; you assumed that the people who were doing well had no life and always played it. You turned your incompetence into hate for those who are better than you.

Then think about when you got real good at counter strike and thought everybody else was a noob etc etc.

THEN think about how unimportant all of this is and realise that what really matters is that you got from A to B. It never matters what anybody else is doing and if you're on Reddit and laughing at the expense of somebody who isn't as competent as you (in whatever field), you've got to ask yourself how successful you really are at this whole seduction thing. In my opinion, this forum is made for people bettering themselves - not putting other people down.

tl;dr - i pretty much talked shit a lot just now, but everybody should stop being an asshole

When guys are doing something very needy or pathetic, or AMOGing, I normally just ignore them. Sometimes I can't help but smile and chuckle to myself, but I don't call them out on it or belittle them for it.

What warning signs can one PUA look out for when he is starting to objectify women? I ask because sometimes I wonder if I've crossed into that territory.

E.g. I've met several girls in the past year, charmed them and never called them back solely because I've lost interest after a few days. Yet they keep texting and calling me. This may sound like an awesome problem to have but it's not. If I reply, I can come off as still being interested in them. If not, I'm ignoring them and I'm an "asshole". In the mean time, I continue to meet new women.

I sometimes feel like I'm just running through women like a factory-process line. Yet I don't find any to be engaging and interesting enough to dedicate additional time & effort. I wish I could sit down with every girl I meet and get to know them better but with a busy schedule, that's just not feasible.

It's complicated. I wouldn't call AFCs bitches. In fact, I suspect you were kind of referring to my earlier post where I complained about someone doing that.

But I do kind of objectify women, and I think most - if not all - of us do on some level.

First, there's.. "Pussy". We've all talked about women as this.. mass.. of Pussy, like "water", "air", "orange juice", "pussy". It's just the most exciting part of a woman. We talk about it in crass terms because it's just kind of.. appropriate, if you will, when dealing with our feelings of lust and so on. If a bunch of guys are discussing Megan Fox, it's likely they're not exactly concerned with her personality as a human being.

Then there's the fact that women really do behave in strange and "illogical" ways.

Now that we have a clue, we know roughly what to do to push their buttons, and we go out there and do it.

A successful attraction-button-push is met with a positive reaction. Any hint of insecurity on our part pushes some kind of womanly displeasure button, and we get rejected. It's like women are some kind of wild animals that respond to certain kinds of stimuli. It's difficult to respect that.

For example, I was always the same lovely person I am now. But I never got anyone because I was pressing the wrong buttons instead of the right ones.

Now if we're talking about treating women respectfully, as equal human beings, and realizing that the most important thing is your personality.. why would that only work one way? They certainly don't make their decisions based on your personality, so why should we?

Every time you get friend-zoned, she's realized that hey, you're a pretty cool person, but umm.. yeah. You're just not pressing her buttons.

So yeah.. It's complicated.

You are the one with the funny attitudes about women. You defend them as a class because you infantilize them as a class... you don't see them as adult individuals, capable of responding to, or ignoring, criticism or insults... as individuals.

Women neither want nor need your help, sir knight. Nor are they facing any threat that would require anyone's help.

The post is silly, because many of us will do better once we objectify women. Treating them like they're nothing special is the key to great game, as long as it doesn't come from a place of bitterness.

Dealing with DC harpies for years on end will end any illusion most men would have about pedestalizing women. You just don't care after a certain point.
