I think op is asking for tips on how/when to put on a condom while also limiting the awkwardness of the situation.

Do you ask them to hold on after a hot make out session while you fumble around for a minute or two?

Do you have your partner help put it on?

Do people care if you have boxes and boxes of different varieties of condoms in your nightstand?

I always ask when I think she is ready, "do you want me to put on a condom?" Making it clear that you are ready and also making sure that she actually does want to have sex. If she says "no, we can do without", you better get that condom on asap because she probably says this to all of her partners and an STD is not what you want.

Sorry for format, on phone and too lazy. More often than not when things are getting hot my girls would ask if I had a condom, and I always had one in arms reach (though it's no big deal if you have to walk across the room naked to get one. Let's be real here...) If she doesn't ask about one and she's already naked, I'll just say "hold on, lemme grab a condom real quick." Always have one, never will it ever be a buzz kill to take 30 seconds to find/put one on. They appreciate it, even if it's not verbalized. I've had unprotected sex twice (was skinny dipping and started fucking on a warm rock in the afternoon). Luckily she was on BC but I still regret not having one. Avoid wallet storage if possible. I'll only put it in the wallet if I'm expecting to get laid withing hours, however I typically put it in the inside pocket of my coat. At home I have a Fossil brand metal watch box that fits condoms perfectly, my female friend told me that tidbit and I've used it ever since.

The trick is to have them right near your bed, discretely so you can basically reach over and grab one easily. Have lube there too.

A drawer on a bedside table is good, if not then in a nice box or something.

Female perspective here... I always have condoms in my house near the bed where I usually have sex. If I'm going out on a date that I think will end in sex I'll throw a handful to a dozen or so in my purse. (been through them all before and penatrative sex ended bc no more condoms... Next time he had a box of 20 ready, lol)

I always have one or two floating around on my person or in the car, though these get tossed regularly, most often before they get used because these are just backup for unexpected sexy times.

If a new guy doesn't bring up the issue of protection during the act, I will say things like "better wrap that up if we're going there" or "ready for a rubber?" Usually works just fine. If they are resistant to put one on or even when they don't bring it up first, its such a turn off, and usually also a red flag for me about their character. I LOVE it when I am completely uninvolved with the condom application, but always happy to help... And also maybe inspect your condom to make sure it hasn't been in your wallet for 8 months, so if you whip it out, I will gladly put it on...

I hate condoms too, they do reduce sensation and leave my pussy smelling like latex.... but I HATE the idea of babies or stds more. Birth control is locked down on my end with an iud, but that only lets my long term, and also std free partner, in jacket free.

Condoms are not weird! If your about to get down and dirty it dosent matter how or when you put it on. My only suggestion is know how to properly put one on. "Pinch resevuar tip, unravel down." You'll do fine!

Where to keep condoms? Can't have it in my wallet because of damage to it, and not in the car because of heat. Do i just put one in my pocket before i go out or what.

Whenever you leave your house, take a condom with you.

If you leave your house and you're expecting to get laid, take two condoms with you.

After using a condom, tie off the opening and flush it down the toilet. Do not just throw it in the garbage. This may sound paranoid, but there have actually been cases where a woman took a used condom out of the trash and impregnated herself using the semen inside of it, and then the guy got stuck paying child support. So it pays to take a few seconds and make sure that won't happen to you.
