As a guy pretty successful with dating apps and able to get dates regularly, I’ll still say the apps suck. In my experience the women you meet from apps are always gonna be far more flakier, ghost more often, treat you as disposable, and not as high quality in general compared to the women you meet through cold approach/other avenues.

I'll be done with dating apps for good this month. I seen some good looking dudes with great physiques and facial structures complaining they don't even get likes or matches. That's absurd to me. I'll be sticking to daygame and nightgame. Save myself money. It just doesn't work for me.

It's true that life is unfair, and men get the microscopic end of the stick when it comes to dating, and social life in general. You're right that complaining about this will just make things harder for us and our only option is to act with reality in mind. Collectively grinding ever more self-improvement, while certainly valuable to an extent, will only make expectations of us more extreme.

We need to act in a way that also fixes the underlying social problem, which is not dating in places with massive asymetries in how the genders are treated in dating. Basically, date anywhere but the US if you can afford it. Most men are incredibly strong, kind, and worthwhile, and it's time we remove ourselves from where we're not appreciated.

Daygame and cold approach is fantastic though- I think online game has done a huge amount of harm to the community and has had a lot of real life implications , the same can’t be said for daygame and night game imo

I get the point, I really know the difference between the better me and me when I'm just complaining. Still all I ever blame is myself, I fully understand that they dont choose me over anyone else. I in all honestly believe that using dating apps lowers my chances because I put myself out, get leftswiped by every girl in the area and it fucks my brain up. It's not that I never had results, I literally never saw even a slight improvement so I'm done with that, maybe I'll look better from my other work or find a way to get pictures but now I'm done. With clubs and bars I at least see my rejections and see what happens, I get more feedback other than just knowing my profile sucks. I see facial expressions and see exactly when they "need to go to the bathroom". And I also found an online network for sex positive people and I think I have a slightly easier time getting along with them,we'll see

Dating apps are the only one of your examples where everything is out of your control. It's a company they profit off your loneliness... Why would they make their product work when it will inevitably lose a customer forever. That's a losing business model.

The other methods are all in the person's control and you have more flexibility in how you present yourself and can easily change it on a dime.

OLD is like NFTs of the investing world... There's no point in investing in something when everything else is clearly better.

I will agree about all the other in person social things though.

My dating profiles have one face photo and it's not even that good. I still get laid like crazy from the apps.

Dating apps are only for visually impressive guys over 6 ft chisel good looking guys who build attraction just by sight. The problem with the dating apps is it's either full of Chad's or it's full of bads. Guys women don't notice Don't care about but these guys will give English attention to women. Just in the hopes of getting attention affection or some reward they're like puppies except for not as cute and pathetic.

Apps are inherently designed to exploit men, profit off men, and fomo their way to keep you engaged. Women on apps know its mainly sex, so if they match you, yeah you have a better chance. But even then....

Stop blaming, start self improving, get a social circle, get hobbies, and meet everyone talk to everyone. Eventually you can tell if a women is being just nice, or being nice because there is some attaction. Apps are cold souless, and rely on perceptions rather than the reality.

My favourite part about all these guys who have access to this magical technology that is literally gifting you opportunities to speak with women directly... somehow are so mad at it they seem to think if it didn't exist they'd have more success.

Its so puzzling to me when I see guys bitch and moan about dating apps. Dating apps gave me a dating life in the first place. All the women I have done anything with all came from dating apps, I have not ever in my life first met a woman organically and eventually dated or hooked up with her. Literally any time I’ve dated or hooked up with any woman, it’s been a woman I met on an app. I find it absolutely laughable when guys keep complaining about online dating

Guys also need to accept what those apps are. Even good looking dudes struggle with it. Dating apps aren't a good solution to finding a date.
