God, there are women like this and from my experience, they want you to give in to their tantrums not snuff them. passing "shit tests" as defined by this article is what ended my last relationship. I am not the type of person who is going to run after someone when they are being ridiculous and let me tell you guys, some women just get more and more crazy when you ignore their emotions until the point where they actually do insane things like threaten to stab you / kill themselves. I have like 100 stories of my girlfriend running away from our house as described in the article and me chilling on my computer, but instead of her coming home and being like "OMG, you didn't care at all, I love you so much now!!!" she just started screaming about how no one cares about her and how she might as well just off herself and brandishing a knife. Sure, she would never actually kill her self, she just wanted the attention, but pass that shit test, dude. Just saying!

The woman in this article doesn't seem like "desirable every woman" and instead seems like "awful life partner with weird baggage". Glad I am not married to her! Trust me guys, there are women out there who don't want to play retarded games and would rather have calm conversations than strange passive aggressive episodes. Sure, there is always a little bit of drama, but someone who puts you through the ringer like this isn't worth it, tell them to fuck off.

This is total bullshit. The fact that I don't "explain" away the male-cheating-mentality by claiming men are "evolutionary wired" to screw everything that moves and throw in some unspoken implication that I could expect a girl to be the equivalent of a sex slave or something to prevent me from cheating on her means that a girl - despite being "evolutionary wired" otherwise - shouldn't be a psychotic manipulative bitch.

I'm a better man than that. I expect women to be better than that. There's evolutionary tendencies and then there's maturity. Maturity is supposed to make you less like an animal.

This article makes me furious.

The link. WTF? A woman as an adult tries to explain her shit-test as a 14 year old girl. Her boyfriend's father had just fucking died. He immature self tested this poor bastard. And then she uses this as an example of why adult women do similar things?? These types of women never fucking grow up. They are stuck in that age mentality. Sure, she admits that it was a shitty thing to do, but she doesn't take it to its logical conclusion. Many women never change beyond being a 14 year old.

This is probably why many PUAs say to treat women like they are your 13 year old sister.

If older women are shit-testing adult men like a 14 year old girl would stupidly test a boyfriend at that age, well, we're fucked.

It is basically admitting that many, some, most women never grow up.

Maybe this is the linch-pin that has many of us guys dealing with confusion and contradiction.

We grow up, they don't? And then we expect them to act like adults.

I'm not saying this is my conclusion personally, but it does seem to be the implication of the linked post.

Worse, it's a conclusion that even the most aware women probably won't admit.

I don't really want to admit it myself.

Are women really perpetual children??

Makes sense but honestly, a woman who does that too often or conciously, will drive me away. I do not like games. They waste my precious time and resources. I am worth more than that incessant garbage. Sometimes, sure why not. All the damn time? Fuck no. A woman who constantly tests is not confident in herself and will ultimately destroy a relationship and she will never find a man "strong" enough to contend with her insanity.

As women like confident men, I like my women confident in themselves and the relationship. If I see a weakness, I will fuck with it until she proves she is done with her bullshit. Fuck with me, you get fucked with. Game on bitches.

This is a really good article. It's unfortunate to see guys on here commenting that it makes them hate women. It's a delicate balance but it's possible to be a really nice guy and pass all these shit tests. It's kinda fun actually to push girls buttons when they do things to get you to react and you just ignore them until they come around.

I can see how it's evolutionary, but that example is really just ... awful.

It was also insightful information that I will add to my massively growing ball of cynicism about the entire framework of relationship forming.

Pro-tip: You can and should shit test women. Sometimes it's the only way to know if you're dealing with some psycho.

Don't feel motivated to shit test women? Look at the many many divorce threads where men's lives were fucking ruined because the woman turned out to be unstable and/or some psycho.

I feel the last story, what that women did was needed to be done. That guys had some issues, and filling them with that girl would have fucked him up even more.

I just wanted to say this is incredibly revealing and explains so so much. I see this type of behaviour several times daily with women! Also some of the things I have read in this thread are so insightful! It is amazing. This subreddit is amazing, I would be lost in the world of women without it.

But being able to understand women and why they do these things, does not really give me much hope. I am not really the type of person to put up with all this. The many things women demand from men. I am a more reserved relaxed type, I am not going to expend endless amounts of energy over the stupidest things for them. But even if i was to do that, is it worth it?
