Ladies, I saw one of the most infuriating posts on a popular subreddit. A young woman wrote in about having an upcoming surgery for a deviated septum, and she asked her boyfriend if she should get the shape of her nose altered as well. Her boyfriend seemed to immediately tell her he likes "ski slope" noses with a "pointed" tip. The OP said she had a "aquiline" nose with a "bulbous" tip and felt insecure. This man tried to reassure her with "oh, the side profile doesn't matter tht much" and "you forced me to answer" type of responses.

The lesson here? LVM to NVM are so pornsick and misogynistic they reduce women down to individual physical body parts and have an already-contemplated "preference" of every body part's shape, size, and color. I'm not talking about simpler "types," like hair color and eye color. What kind of person can say, off the top of his head, "I like THIS kind of nose?" No wonder so many women have body image issues: LVM around the world are literally picking at features that we cannot change lest we get invasive surgery, extreme exercise, or a chemical process. Do we see women do this to men? I sure as hell don't. Some of us may say "I like/don't like hairy men," but I have never heard a woman say "I prefer a petite nose on a man." We are being degraded like cuts of meat and suffer when we are told to stay in relationships with men who 1) make us feel insecure and 2) completely destroyed our libido because they make us feel insecure. Nothing makes a man permanently unattractive as much as one who negs, gets involved with someone outside his precious "preference," or has a ready list of preferred body parts. Disgusting.

Tl;dr: A man who nitpicks any part of your body is misogynistic, lacking in empathy, and entitled. Avoid them entirely. All sorts of noses look nice, and you are damn precious and beautiful for what is inside of you. End rant.
