This is a principle that can be applied to any specific ideology or worldview. But here i am thinking specifically of the Blue Pill/Feminist movement and the claims Redpillers make that women, even feminists have a preference for aggressive, domineering, non-feminist, or even violent and misogynistic men. Whether this claim is true or not in the world can be debated- that is not the point of my post.

My point is that most bluepillers do not understand that IF this revealed preference is true, this is damning to the Blue Pill worldview. This would mean what they claim they value (women leading men, men who allow themselves to be led by women, men who respect them, treat them as equals,etc etc) is not truly what they value. This would reasonably immediately raise the suspicion of dishonesty or deception perpretated by bluepillers. Another reasonable explanation is a high level of lack of self-awareness and introspection (to not see they really want whag they claim to dislike), both of which are indictments on the Blue Pill movement. How can its adherents be treated as good faith or serious at that point? Why ought others obey their prescriptions for society if they themselves do not ?

Further, in terms of discourse on this sub that i have seen, if a redpiller brings this subject up, bluepillers saying "women can date whoever they want!" is a "woosh" moment and missing the point the redpiller is making. That redpiller is accusing your movement of inconsistency and dishonesty.

BPer: "I loathe x (trad, hypermasculine, or even aggressive and violent male behaviors that don't respect women) and want this eradicated from society"

RPer: "No, here's evidence you actually prefer x and dislike non-x (feminist or feminine guys)

BPer: "OMG I'm allowed to like whatever I want" ..... So, if this comes up, either dispute the claims (women actually don't prefer disrespectful and agressive guys), admit the preference but say its a struggle women go through and are trying to eradicate or something, but don't just effectively claim you're allowed to be deceptive.
