I notice many men on this sub, as well as IRL, tell me I should be more feminine. I've never considered asking anyone why. The fact is femininity would require me to give up something. Whether that be the time invested in my appearance or having to suppress my views. I'm having a hard time seeing how femininity benefits everyone but the woman.

So that begs the question, does masculinity do anything for men? Do men have to give anything up?

Edit:

When I say benefit, I'm talking about the amount of effort compared to the result. Also, there has to be no other way to achieve a specific goal. Femininity has benefits, just neither in proportion to the effort needed to maintain it nor the lack of options that achieve the same result.
