I posted this in the megathread and pondered whether to make It a thread but thought why not.

My girlfriend had the ultimate creeper on our recent flight to Dubai. An Arabian guy got sat inbetween us on a 3 seat berth. Not only did he refuse to switch, even when asked nicely by myself and the flight attendants, but he then continually asked her really awkward questions and made weird conversation throughout, even despite all her attempts to shut him down. "So, uh, does your boyfriend do it for you?" etc. Nudging her when she tried to watch a film or sleep. Asking her in depth things about our sex life and whether she "keeps herself well trimmed."

He also made strange conversations with the attendants, male and female. But despite all of them knowing what he was like and meant, he never did or said anything where he couldn't then claim confusion or misinterpretation due to a language barrier (I.e he could claim "do you keep yourself well trimmed" just meant does she look after her hair, "does he do it for you" could mean are you happy in your relationship etc.). I know that from actually speaking to one of the attendants who said they're all watching and hoping he'd be so overt there's no room for confusion and they can act.

I wanted to kill him, my girlfriend found the whole thing hilarious in a sort of "wtf was that' kind of way.

I left it as knowing her the way i do she was okay. She's a yoga teacher in her day to day, and in Asia where there are limited white women available if a guy doesn't want to date asian women. So in effect she's used to a bit of creepy, full court presses from men, and having to deal with them alone. I also figured causing a scene with a guy who seemed that disturbed was not a great idea, and might just end up with us in a UAE jail.

I'd also add the flight was full, even in the business and first classes. I did ask the attendants to see if they could swap us with two other single male passengers maybe. Unfortunately they reported no luck, and some they couldn't ask because they were asleep and it was a night flight which I wasn't happy about, but understood as I hate it when attendants wake me when I'm asleep on flights to ask me something, and if I was woken up only to be asked to swap in that moment I'd probably say no as well.

We did get a free upgrade to first class for our connecting flight to the UK, which was arranged by the attendants without our knowledge at the time. That and I've since hot a refund of the fill cost of the flights as well confirmed byvrmail,

So I guess question is for both men and women.

Q4M - What would you do if your SO was in that or a similar situation? Would you have confronted him, got physical?

Q4W - What would you want your SO to do in that or a similar situation?
