Yes, I remember going out to an 80's themed bar years ago. And there was a group of like 15-20 people in their mid-20's. About half were girls and half were guys. They were all pretty nerdy (obviously into anime/gaming just by their clothing). None of them were particularly attractive. But I saw one dude in the group that was "decent" looking (tallest, decent face), but had scraggly hair and wore a shitty oversized button up shirt with Japanese writing on it. And just based on observation, he was an awkward dude as well but looked better than the scrawny or fat guys in the group.

As the night progressed and they all got drunker, LITERALLY all the females of the group sat around this dude and flat out ignored the others in the group. It got to a point that they were aggressively competing for his attention. And he kind of just sat there with a stupid look on his face too which was funny but cringeworthy. Then one chubby girl with big tits finally grabbed his arm and led him to the dance floor (she was trying to take him away from the other girls and keep him for herself. She had a really quick and animalistic way of snatching him and pulling him away). The other girls just sat back and watched visibly angry and the other dudes just sat there with a defeated look on their faces. They started out the night talking and having a good time as friends but ended the night in silence. Both genders of the group were upset for very different reasons lol. That was my first hard experience of seeing the 80/20 rule in action (pre-red pill days).
