Let me just put it this way: if you walk up to a cute girl on the street and you're kind of charming, she will probably give you her number.

But that same girl will swipe left on you on Tinder without thinking twice because she has a buffet of men to pick from while she's sitting on the toilet.

But with that said, you should do both. Sourcing from multiple avenues seems like a no brainer.

I feel like cold approaching is improving my life but not getting me any girls.

Talking to real life women fights against the buildup of negative energy that blackpills you whenever you learn game.

My skill at talking to women is of course sharpened once again.

I also have more likes and followers on social media and there's more going on in my social life.

But I haven't actually gotten any girls, so far I've mostly made acquaintances at best.

It's still infinitely more productive than Tinder would be for a regular guy though.

For immediate results it's probably a little worse than OLD currently. However, take someone who's done 10k cold approaches vs. someone who's only done OLD for 10 years, the cold approach guy is gonna be way better.

No, but here's something to think about. If you're cold approaching, you're limiting yourself to a small geographical area. You can do virtual cold approach on Instagram or Facebook, and reach a much larger group of women and develop a dating "sales" funnel. The technology is there, you might as well take advantage of it

for me it depends on the personality or perceived attitude of a person. some turn away fast or loose interest without being thrown a bone within a reasonable time period. whether it is for a quick seduction or a long term trance, i feel it only works with certain types of people.

It’s not overrated but there’s definitely got to be some form of understanding that it can be a hit or miss. Some nights I’ve been straight up shut out and others I’ve simply offered to buy a drink and it led to good things. It goes both ways.

I honestly don't see alot of cold approach. Obviously because most men don't have the balls to actually do it.

Cold approach is a skill that's basically helps you in so many other aspects of life; more c onfident, active and girls.

Cold approach is not over rated and is great to prarhce. Remember cold approach doesn't have to be just asking out girls. In sales we have to basically cold approach people and basics take their money. Or just cold approach to make friends and improve your l social circle.

On the contrary, cold approach is underrated! It is surprising how many lazy people on Utube etc reject cold approach and propose instead "to relate in depth with girls".

Obviously these guys tremble and shiver merely at the idea of approaching face to face an unknown girl and saying bluntly that they like her. If someone is a coward, he may find a million arguments to justify his inactivity

I’d say it’s underrated, because it’s done even less than 10-15 years ago, and so it’s even less competitive. I like it because of a mixture of being relatively efficient (I hate online and social circle, because they are too slow and boring for me — in online you should talk to a girl before having a chance to check her out in real life which to me seems absurd and social circle is a torture of slow cringe that only alcohol can salvage for me, and also I barely ever meet decent girls in social circle) and kind of adventurous and un-competitive. I think it creates kind of a halo effect for you, because your first impression is tied to a pleasant and rare experience, instead of you being just another of hundreds of guys on Tinder or a boring guy from social circle (even though social circle definitely has its advantages, it asks much less of you). Also I think it even creates the same halo effect for a girl in your head.

Cold approaching can and does work, just depends on many variables. It includes you, the person you are approaching, how the two of you calibrate, the environment, context of the meeting, and the approach overall.

Typically, a lot of guys will get rejected regardless; it is just a part of it. Take it with grace and respect and keep it moving. Some guys can't take rejection and are immature and some women reject men for whatever reason and sometimes rudely, but just take itnwoth a grain of salt and no harm in changing the environment in where you approach women (a different bar, different event, something outside your element).
