That was my most recent big disappointment; the new WoW expansion. I'm a bit older, for me it was Ultima Online and Everquest. Games were so much more difficult but infinitely more rewarding than the drivel they put out these days with all these horrible skinner box mechanics, forced grinding of repetitive content etc... Only thing I'm looking forward to being any decent these days is Cyberpunk 2077 which comes out in about a year or so. Looks like I'll be getting some certs in the meantime.

TBH, if we have ww3 we are completely fucked as a race. We've used up more than 50% of the oil already, and that is the only reason we have our current tech level... Basically we would be trapped here on earth forever. I've made my peace with dying. Doesn't make much sense to worry about it. Surviving in some hellscape doesn't really appeal to me.
