See, shit like this pisses me off because I wrote about it in university. The problem with batshit scales like this is that it assumes all the units are the same. They are NOT. Each category of difference doesn't add and take from a collective 'pool' of privilege/oppression. Each category contains within it, it's own set of logic, experiences, and social effects. They are not the same at all. You can't just add them up together. It's not arithmetic. You have to examine each category to find information on the uniqueness of the power struggles within it. In other words: you have to not be lazy. If you wanna 'know' what 'privilege' and 'power' is within a specific context, then get up off your lazy ass and go study/research it IN DEPTH. Don't try to add it together like it's a lego puzzle.

This chart seems very superficial. As someone who grew up with and still has a disability I find it annoying to say the least. Moreover, this doesn't explore or explain any of the "privileges" that are held. The fact that it's damn near impossible for women to break even.is also a strong indicator of bias to me. It's like saying a group has something so you should too, then being told not to generalize or stereotype others.

Um, being tall is not privileged for both sexes. Women probably get grief for being tall-and if they prefer mates taller than them that also "disprivileges them" from finding someone. Being short is not really an issue for women socially either. There's also different impacts for attractiveness, geography, etc.

This is hilarious bad, or a hilariously accurate satire of showing a complete lack of proportion for people crying "privilege".
