One of my "things" is to never call it circumcision. If I happen to be in a conversation about it, I'll replace "circumcision" with mutilation. It usually makes them stutter, and if we go further, it always comes to them talking about FGM being worse, when I take the argument toward something like "that's beside the point. consent and bodily autonomy are equally important to both boys and girls".

I'm not the best at debate, but most people are prepared to defend circumcision and don't even know the false talking points (HIV in that Africa study), so it's pretty easy to plant some seeds just by using "mutilation".

tl;dr I totally owned a girl on my facebook who mutilated her son. She's pregnant again, and maybe I got her thinking by using that word.
