You ever notice how all the doomsaying about the upcoming generation is almost always based on observations of porn and social media? I rarely see a PPD guy say, “I was in class the other day and you won’t believe what I saw this group of friends across from me do” or “The upcoming generation is screwed. Check out what happened at our intramural dodgeball match.”

Yeah if you pay too much attention to media where economics is tied to consistent online engagement you’re going to think the world is filled with people obsessed with online engagement for money.

I wouldn’t say useless,but the emotional interdependence between the genders will surely reduce. Society is transitioning towards becoming more individualistic and hedonistic. Community, family and union are concepts that are gradually being compromised and will soon create to exist.

Not really. Only the top 1% on Onlyfans are making that kind of money, most make very little. It's also a lot more work then you are making it out to be. They have to be constantly on their phones posting stuff to Twitter, Instagram, reddit, etc. Building a following takes time and lots of engagement.

Don't get me wrong, lots of jobs are more difficult, but it's socially isolating and takes a lot of time to really make it. Plus you have to deal with stalkers and creeps.

Finally Onlyfans is changing their rules, and all the sex workers on there are freaky out about what the next platform is. Porn's not going anywhere, but the landscape is going to change in the next few months.

Men are growing up in a world that sees them as disposable.

This isn't a new thing. Social attitudes maybe, but the past was way more dangerous to be a young man. Millions died in war, workplace accidents were way more common.

I do agree that there is a trend of more young men dropping out of normal life and turning to porn and Vidya. Less marriage, less kids, and everyone is fatter and less healthy.

I don't think it's the end of the human race though.

The media constantly blaming men for everything and talking about how all men are rapists will make things worse. #killallmen has trended multiple times on twitter and tik tok. Subs like two chromosomes are brain washing young women to hate men.

You could mandate that all rape kits must be tested, implement changes that get rape convinction up from 2%, make more sexual offenses illegal, allow women to use self defense weapons that don't maim or worse, make stalking a serious crime with serious consequences, ...

If women are able to make money doing sex work on OnlyFans and from simps on Instagram then that's men's fault for providing the demand for it. It sounds like men are really the only useless ones, and women are intelligent for taking advantage of the resources that the men who simp provide. It's up to men to not provide women with the positive reinforcement that encourages this behavior.

The men seeing women make 6 figures just for posting pictures will eventually give up on society. Why go to college and bust your ass when girls turning 18 can become wealthy just from sending a few messages and taking pictures?

Regarding sex work being the dominant profession. Strip clubs in my area are dying out. There used to be 15 or 20 in my area maybe there’s 5 or so now and that’s pretty pandemic, I’m sure a few more have or will close.

Women’s university participation remains much higher than men. Very few women make enough money to solely survive off of OnlyFans and that window is also closing due to the OF changes.

Nightclubs are also dying out and covid has accelerated that too. So meeting people is moving more online of course. This broadly benefits women who do participate online as the gender ratio there is skewed. Women that don’t like dating online though end up with even less options I’d think.

If there is demand, there will be supply.

As long as men are willing to pay for what women offer, women will be offering it. That's literally capitalism. If men stop the demand, there will be no supply. Women are absolutely right and smart, using this to their financial advantage. Since men are so incredibly dumb as to pay for photos or sex work, good for women for taking their money.

I think sex robots will replace most sex work. I think sex robots will be far more proficient than humans can ever be at the carnal arts. So I really doubt society will turn out how you envision it.
