I'm still coming to accept what I've done, it has been the hardest challenge of my life (so far).

Roughly 4 years ago I was r*ped multiple times over multiple hours by one "person" (I was gonna say 'demon', but that would be offensive to demons) and I have finally come forward to the police and made it all official. The detective (an amazing woman) showed me nothing but kindness, compassion, and patience and for her I am so grateful. I recognize that I am undeniably lucky to have a warrior like her on my side. This is only the beginning of course, I'm sure the worst most hardest parts are still to come, but as if would let that stop me. I've already made it this far. The future is uncertain but I am ready, supported, and beaming with pride.

All I can say is THANK YOU. To every single woman here; I want to thank you from the depths of my soul, bottom of my heart, with every part of me. Without you (and years of therapy - though this is therapy in itself, no?), I'd have never realized the strength I have and been able to use it. I have found courage and I have finally found my voice. I did it for me, I did it for every woman, every woman who suffers in silence... but only for now. She has a voice and she will speak.

I love you all so much. I will never not be grateful for everything you have done for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
