Democratic party Establishment: "we don't like the people that Bernie is bringing into the party cause they're sexist Bernie bro's.

People who aren't blinded by the glass ceiling: "But he's bringing new people into the party! He's the most progressive serious candidate in 30 years and he won all the purple state primaries in the upper Midwest. He's more electable and has better policies"

Democratic Party Establishment: "It's Hillary's turn you sexist Bernie bro"

I remember all of this. It was very eye opening as to just how poisonous this discourse can become. These morons undoubtedly cost us a shot at the presidency, because they were and still are, more concerned with the gender of the individual running, than their platform.

Even now, the amount of so-called "leftist" feminists who will make excuses for Kamala, and daydream of Biden dying so she can take the mantle, despite her being equally (perhaps even more-so) representative of everything wrong with neo-liberal politics, is disconserting. Real "more female drone pilots" moment.

Its not just warren. it's freaking hillary. She's the one who started this crap in the 2016 primaries. She created the bernie bro narrative. She single handedly derailed sanders and buried his campaign under a bunch of idpol BS. If you didnt like hillary, you were a sexist, you didnt like her because she was a woman. if you supported stein, you were still sexist because you didnt like the right woman. It was toxic as fudge.

Warren just decided to score cheap political points by leaning into that dynamic in 2020 because she didnt have enough of her own fanbase so she tried to steal bernie's and ended up splitting the vote.

Honestly, im just so bitter with the democrats over this stuff. I feel like the idpol is toxic, and seriously, it's like they dont even want white males (the most "privileged" demographic) in their party at all. They've done nothing but piss off and alienate me, and I honestly think they've pissed off the demographics of those who think like me too.

And now the democrats are imploding between that stuff backfiring and them not doing enough to materially help people, and I just feel a massive sense of schadenfreude from this whole mess. I mean, seriously, it was really that easy run someone like say, bernie sanders or andrew yang, who have good ideas and could fix this country. but no, we had to go with the same old crap. And good policy got bogged down in toxic idpol, and we ended up getting just about the crappiest possible candidates as a result.

Im really getting to the point i hate the democratic party's internal politics. I really feel like I have no place in it any more.

I still am shocked the majority of people turned a blind eye to this. It was fucking APPAULING what Warren did to fucking Bernie, one of the most selfless men in the political scene who genuinely cares about us.

Feminists saw this, made the cringe "bernie bros" thing to paint his fanbase as incels because a group of men = incels btw. And didnt even endorse Bernie because low and behold her whole progressive shtick is flawed and a ruse. Warren is a fucking snake. There's no two ways about it, she's every bit an obstruction as any Manchin or Sinema. In a way, she's even more insidious, because she tricks baby leftists into being recuperated back into liberalism. She wraps herself in this thin veneer of progressivism and throws around a bunch of vaguely leftist rhetoric. But she member says "the 'C' word" and when the chips are down she never comes through.

Her betrayal in 2016 was awful, but her absolute treachery in 2020 really took the cake. The completely disingenuous "Bernie bro" rhetoric took things even further over the top. At the start of 2016, I would have happily voted for her. As of right now? I would literally rather not vote.

And that whole "she doesn't owe him any sort of support" - hell yeah she does! If she wants a progressive in the white house, she absolutely does. But that's not what she wants. She wants to be a figurehead to divert the progressive movement away from sincere leftism.

I remember in 2016 hearing the term "Bernie bros" and just remember thinking..."holy fuck, really?" As if Bernie hasn't been fighting for his entire career for us plebs, male or female. Meanwhile Warren has all the attributes of a standard politician, much like Hillary. Another clear example of the left tearing itself apart to be more reactionary and extreme. Go back and watch clips of Bernie being asked pointedly feminist questions and two things become obvious: 1) Bernie was NOT plugged into the woke movement and 2) his attitude was "of COURSE women deserve equal treatment".

Relax. Bernie and Warren are just like every other politician: when they lose they were robbed and when they win it's because the natural order has been restored. If you get this worked up about the minute policy differences between candidates on the same side, you're in for a rough ride in American politics.
