I saved a pdf file about primate mating strategies. To try to summarize the study: Female primates get attacked and mangled often by males that want to mate with them, so female primates do either two things: form a coalition with other female primates to protect themselves, or find a singular male and 'king' them. Human males are rare in that other male primates rarely collaborate with other males to secure female partners; this is vastly advantages them. Marriage was invented by men as a way to secure a partner even if they are in the lower rung of the hierarchy and most importantly to keep a footnote that she nor the offspring are to be harmed by other males. If a woman is without a partner or family to protect her she is seen as easy game. Marriage is constructed to imprison female sexuality while doing very little to deter male promiscuity. There are very few men who do not engage in this behavior of battering a female partner but it specifically states that it is not 'biological' as much as it is learned. Societies with strong female social groups have less domestic abuse because other women intervene when there is spousal disputes. I would like to go analyze this article more but what I gather from it is that we need to cultivate a society of women who prioritize female bonds over any other (romantic or parental). Men have the advantage of not having to hold down the fort and they do not have to sacrifice socialization to prioritize children. Women are constantly fed through media that other women are the mean girl, or the competition, and friendships are one dimensional and easily displaced by romantic interest. Men are fed that women are just vehicles for their legacy and media directed at men portrays homoeroticism, that is how we get the quip, Bros before h*es.

Funny how nearly every guy is somehow a “good guy” according to their male friends, no matter how many depraved and violent things they’ve done.

I’ve heard men defend their friends even after they’ve been kicked out of uni for rape.

Why are we even letting them out in public? They should be the ones kept indoors and given curfews. I've been watching a series of presentations at an Andrea Dworkin memorial conference and some of the women, who've been feminists in Dworkins time, have viewed whats online and the sheer violence of it and been stunned at how badly, our society has gotten worse since Dworkin died.

Another younger woman, related her experience of doing a PhD on porn and becomming almost immobilised by her research, to the point she suffered serious physical symptoms at having to regularly look at the sheer disgusting violence that men are now viewing and normalising. It's scary out there for our girls (and you young women) - it's like an avalanche of sexual and physical violence becoming part of completely erasing women as a human and replacing us as a vessel for their violence.

This is what's in the mind of men you speak to daily - that man at the cash register who packed your groceries and said ''yes, maam''? Viewing violence on us only hours before - violence of murder, torture - the worst stuff - they've all watched it and it is all of them. They hate us that much.

Men have a great disconnect between the word "mother" and the word "woman". They really think their mothers aren't women, and that they weren't completely and utterly vulnerable in womens' hands once upon a time. This is the result of benevolent sexism, women have been "puppified" in people's eyes.

This is why everyone is extremely surprised when women commit crimes against their children, even though in most cases they were forced against their will to have them and were used as an subhuman incubator and sex/labour slave by their husbands and the people around them, and had no way out from a horrible lifestyle. A human being can only be pushed so far before a line is crossed.

Although, it's true that women need to establish some kind of security net in order to protect our rights as a collective. Objectively speaking, there's never been a better time for such a thing, as we have the internet, easy access to birth control and abortion (regardless of whether or not it's "banned") "equalizer" weapons and have more rights and opportunities than we ever had before.

Such messages from men aren't a bad thing Women's greater current problem is how comfortable we've gotten. Most girls and women think they're safe, it's good to shatter these delusions when they're not safe at all.
