Women have a pass to be delusional about dating and romance, because by and large they are desired for their appearance and because of that even average women have a plural of options without much effort. This results in women having the freedom to fabricate completely erroneous conceptions of love, romance, flirting, dating and relationships, because their success (and we will deem having options as success, as you are only left to choose from there) is a given. If you check out women‘s channels for dating advice, you will find it‘s very airy, wishy washy and vague. It‘s rarely concrete, pragmatic and direct. It generally centers around remaining who you are, manifesting the future you want and scolding men for not accepting who you are in various forms. It advocates for passivity, comfort and self-affirmation. Meanwhile dating advice for men, while the mainstream can provide similar content, is generally about direct actionable steps that center around improving yourself, stepping out of your comfort zone, studying what the male ideal is and working to fulfill it. Of course authenticity and self-acceptance might be mixed in there. By and large it doesn‘t matter what these dating channels for women say or women tell each other, because their success ultimately doesn‘t come from their beliefs or actions, but solely from their appearance. The end result is that women can choose to believe whatever comforting conception of romance and dating makes them feel best, while their success will come either way, given they look good enough. There won‘t be a reality check. Picking the wrong partner isn‘t much of a dilemma as well, because due to their abundance of options they can always play the numbers game, which women inevitably do. It‘s generally men who must have a truthful understanding of attraction, dating and relationships to be successful.
