Search up "hells kitchen contestants" (US) on google images or watch some clips on youtube. Look through the male and female contestants - do you consider them average looking people?

As someone who's recently watched some episodes, I scanned through some clips of other seasons as well and noticed that none of the contestants are particularly attractive or unattractive. Obviously since this a cooking show, not a dating show, the producers didn't care much for looks.

But for all the people constantly talking about "average looking" men and women, and never supply photos to show what they're talking about - are these contestants what comes up in your head when you think of average looking people?
