I just signed a lease on an apartment so I can have a good place for my kids, and a month later my company does a 70%+ reduction in force. I was impacted. Got some severance but heading into the holidays with no work is such a kick in the balls. I know I'm better off than others and will get through this. I'd love to get any work under the table to just make ends meet, but I've never done that. I just need to hustle my ass off and remember it's for my kids. I have an interview tomorrow but itusually take 3-6 months for me to find a job, as what I do is very specialized. I'm spending the night canceling all subscriptions etc. Any advice?
