self worth isn’t attached to having sex, and the reason why progressives and women who try to insult some men use it is because they know using it hurts.

A lot of the idea of having sex = self worth is born out of 80s high school movies promoting the idea of losing your virginity in high school, as well as male circles who make getting girls a whole event, as well as bragging about women constantly - when a guy is so lacking in confidence, attacking his ego is the easy way to go, hence why the “haha you’re a virgin” comes in - the person insulting you knows it’ll hurt, which is exactly why people who are secure in themselves who aren’t having any don’t get thrown the same insult, cause it won’t work on them.

The inability to have an adult romantic relationship is a symptom of other issues that should be addressed by the individual but is not, in and of itself, something that makes a person less worthwhile.

Not being able to get casual sex (or to have casual sex with the women he wants to have sex with) is an invented crisis and whining about it is definitely a symptom of other issues which should also be addressed by the individual and likely contributes to the first scenario.

In addition, if a man doesn’t create a public spectacle, whining about his “lack of success”, no one else will know or have the opportunity to think less of him for it.

In other words, if those men stopped thinking of themselves are a penis with appendages and started thinking about themselves as actual people and at the same time stopped thinking of women as vaginas with appendages and started thinking of them as actual people, they might find that they struggle with the whole sex=self worth goofiness a bit less.

I think it's more the type of virgin they are. This guy my friend and I always hung out with couldn't get laid to save his life. He would pay prostitutes. He was short, fat, balding, and a drunk. He was cool as shit tho and we hung out all the time and years later I still text him to see how he is.

Another friend of mine (originally met on tinder) has never had a gf and he's 30. He's average everything. I just assume people are either awkward, reserved, or busy.

The people I think women mostly shame are the incels or those who share the same ideas that they deserve sex and women are the reason they're depressed.

The way I see it, you can't have it both ways. You can't say "You shouldn't take your ability or inability to have sex as a judgement of worth" and also "Sex should only happen under these circumstances, where moral and personal judgements are obviously being made".

I'm not gonna say those dudes are moral paragons or they have some larger social value but the whole point of it is most people willing to have sex with you are up in their feelings and will usually have a high opinion of you. It just is what it is and people are going to emulate the guy that gets that reaction.

Obviously the flipside of that will be that men will attach their worth to sex. If sexlesness = lame person who is unworthy, then having sex = cool person who is worthy. It's a pretty simple concept.

Some of the coolest people I've meet were guys who learned early on, the hard way, to say "Fuck Off" to everyone trying to paint their worth on bodycount, they probably were mostly asexuals who definitely could have had someone 'if' they wanted to.

But I think the overall point still stands, many loner guys would be better off valuing themselves on different areas besides sex, rather than being bitter over it and trying to make progressive women accountable for (which they will never be)

Self-Worth is over-rated. It does not matter, your self-worth doesn't get you results.

If I think I'm super charismatic, a great story-teller, life of the party, and I go to a party and can't get anyone to pay any attention to anything I say, am I actually charismatic? Of course not.

You might say "but hillbilly, it's just that one party" fair. How about when this continues your whole life? You bore everyone to tears at every social event. At a certain point, aren't you going to doubt your own judgment of your charisma?
