Feminist urbanism advocates for a type of urban planning that promotesinclusivity and puts the needs of women, non-binary and genderfluidpeople at the forefront of the way we think of the urban landscape.

In other words, the needs of men will be forced into the background: say hello to night-time curfews for men because women are paranoid about being asked for sex cause men have biological drives and are required to pursue them rather than women offering to satisfy them.

Council agrees that in order to create public spaces that are safe and inclusive for women, and accessible for all members of the community ...

In other words, women don't feel safe with men around, so they will design women-only spaces that men can access only at limited times, which will progressively reduce to zero as compensation for all the history of effectively men-mainly spaces.

Scotland is shaping up to be a beacon of feminism in Europe, after passing legislation this summer which made period products absolutely free for everyone.

Note, nothing similar done for men when the issue should be about dignity at low cost for all: men experience continence issues too and might have issues affording those products designed to help with dignity.

You know the funny thing is by doing this they will create misogyny and create division while the male suicide rates go up.

Putting women's and girls problems first and ignoring mens and boys problems will create societal problems that will be harder to undo as time goes on.

These women only spaces will eventually come under attack legally and will face other problems.

This is not going to end well.

in Spanish we have two conjunctions, "feminismo" and "machismo" the translation of "machismo" is "sexism" feminism is an organization that helps women and men don't even have an organization, literally that word is a definition of sexism, and in English, feminists are no longer using the word "sexism" because the exact definition does not benefit them. so they decided to use "toxic masculinity" to subconsciously generalize all masculinity.

now, what is the difference between feminism and toxic masculinity? that feminism creates and shouts hate speeches without anyone saying anything to them because they hide behind victimization, that is power.

I mean the description of "feminist" urbanism they use is essentially just contemporary urban planning post-rationalised to how it benefits women. Jeff Speck is probably best known for the idea of the walkable city. It's basically exactly what they're talking about but doesn't label itself as feminist. It is simply resident/human centred urban planning. Jahn Gehl another leading contemporary thinker on urban planning advocates for much of the same stuff through increased public space and effective and efficient public transport. Again I've not heard him or his work specified as feminist but rather people centred design.
