I see a relationship as a partnership. You carry their problems, and your partner carries your problems.

So whatever side is going true a rough time it both affects you.

If it's too much one side and you always have to bend for your partner, and your partner does not bend for you when you need it.

I believe in gender roles, and i believe you get out something that you put in it yourself.

And i think it's being fine to have high demands for people or partners. But i do believe you're a hypocrite. If you dont live by the same standards, you demand others yourself. And that's often the problem high demands on one side but dont carry the same standards back.

And if you have someone that only wants to get gifts but not give back the same energy in the same ways or others. You focus on yourself and have the self-respect to do that that will make you a lot more happy and satisfied in your life.

Real World is different my man, very different. If you believe this, you will have a very rude awakening, many men don't survive the truth. I will just say that you should expect absolutely nothing of your girlfriend/wife, and you will not be disappointed.

Women are not in this life to protect us. They protect themselves, and sometimes, their kids. They extract stuff from us, no mater how much they say they love their husbands, the terrible truth is that women are totally incapable of loving men, we are 100% disposable to them, will drop us in a day if something better come along, and they don't protect us in any way or form, and even if they wanted, they couldn't.

Lol I don’t date my girlfriend because I need somebody to make me feel safe. Like when I looked for partner safety wasn’t a requirement.

My long list of requirements were

Have to find you attractive
my family has to like you (my family loves anybody who makes me happy)
Have to be loyal at times willing to prove it
Sex or be being able to look up porn and masturbate with out any drama lol. Previous ex would not be in the mood sometimes and I would respect that but she wouldn’t let me jerk off in peace her rationalizing would be if I can’t get off you can’t get off, I always offered to play with her eat her out etc before sex because I enjoyed getting my partner off but she would decline most the time.
Help out around the home, like any of the big hard smelly spooky jobs I would do but the smaller jobs like cleaning laundry etc she would do.

Been with her for over 10 years.

Other than that the rest I can provide.

Damn I’d love a good solid relationship where we both push each other to be the best version of ourselves. So hard to find that these days. I’m not looking in the wrong places (clubs parties etc) because I don’t go to those. I’m not looking at all tbh. I’m just living my life and hoping something happens in that department.
