Bad people existing doesn't mean long term love doesn't exist. You can't take this example and use it to ignore the examples of lifelong relationships.

Anybody should be extremely cautious about getting married. Life ruination does not discriminate between genders when it hits you.

“New Normal” is a bit of stretch, but this is a pretty common story that I have seen too often on Reddit and in real life.

Makes me extremely hesitant to approach marriage in a legal manner while antiquated alimony laws are still a thing.

We should. After preparing however, for the worst case scenario, we shouldn't let our fears, dictate our actions. I'm not saying men should marry, but there's a whole ton of benefits. Fulfilment, joy, and immense meaning, to be derived from having a wife, and building a family.

If you want a happy marriage, marry a 18-22 trad virgin female who has her pairbonding ability intact and will love you because you will be the only man in her life, the other women who have their hymen broken are monkeybranching men unable to pairbond again.

Honestly, "hairdressers looking for a long-term relationship" is a new red flag. On IG I get real humans sliding into my DMs 2-3 times a week, 25-30yo, all single, living with relatives, 7-8/10 appearance, ALL hairdressers lol.
