Im on Bumble and Hinge and the results are drastically different. On Bumble, I will maybe get 4 matches a month and maybe one of those women will bother messaging me first. On Hinge, I can get a match a day because I work hard to have a clever, funny, witty opener and follow it up with engaging conversation.

Ive even matched with women on Bumble and later matched on Hinge and they tell me that they don't like making the first move or some other lame excuse. The bizarre thing about it is Bumble is supposed to 'empower women' but women, by their actions, don't actually like or want that. They still like traditional gender roles where the man has to court them, similar to a princess fairy tale. Its bizarre how duplicitous this behavior is and I'm not even sure women are aware of it.

There are caveats - If the woman is really attracted to you she will message first but those types of men and situations are exceedingly rare. If you're not the right race, height, good-looking, etc its exceedingly difficult and can feel virtually impossible.

Id be interested to hear the thoughts of men and women on what their experience on these two apps has been
