Here's the tale of what happened to me this week: I've been going to the gym for a couple years now, I recently moved to another city, and I've been lucky enough to get a flat a few hundred meters from a pretty good and cheap gym. It allows me to go about my day normally, and in 3 minutes on foot I can be there in gym attire and do my workout, very convenient. I've been going there for a couple months, and I'm not the type of guy that goes to make friends, I try to be as friendly as possible to people when approached, but I pretty much go there, do my stuff trying to take as little space as possible and bother the least amount of people, and leave.

There has been this other member, a woman I think about my age, that I've caught multiple times oogling at me while I workout, and I've never said anything because I figured it's ok to watch other people working out, even just to understand how to perform some excercises correctly. Now, she's ugly as sin. Not my type. A couple weeks ago she followed me when I was about to leave and asked me out, and I very politely declined, told her she's very sweet (she's not, she's loud, obnoxious, occupies the machines for too long because she's always on the phone) but I'm already in a relationship (I'm not). Then I leave.

Now, beginning of this week, I enter the gym, the owner calls me aside and tells me there is a member saying I sexually harassed her and she doesn't feel comfortable working out at the gym. I asked the owner who this member is, because I know I haven't done anything, I come, workout, and go home, and he tells me it's her. I explained what happened to him, he tells me I'm a good guy but it's my word against hers, she said she's not going to press charges against the gym for aiding sexual harassment as long as my presence is removed and he doesn't want problems with any of the many female members at the gym, that are friends with her, and so he gave me back the money I paid for my membership and revoked it.

So now I can't go to the gym that's literally at 3 minutes from my house because I declined going out with a woman I don't like, and she used a lie that is sure to have everyone side with her because she's poor little woman society has to defend.
