Women really are "twofaced" for shutting our mouths when we don't agree with a friend (which is what normal, mature adults are supposed to do unless it's like, bigoted opinions ). Men are loyal bros when they stay mum about Brandon perving on a 13 year old.

This. My last, and final, argument with a man I dated was when he told me that a friend of his once showed him a violent, pedophile porn clip that had been being talked about a lot in the media at the time. He was appropriated disgusted and mortified but....

it did not occur to him that he should have been angry with his friend for showing it to him and for his friend knowing how to easily access this clip in the first place.

Dude, your friend had to search for that, download that, choose to engage with revictimizing a child. Your friend is a POS.

BF was so defensive. It never occured to him to call out his friend. Because men care about men's opinions much more than they care about sexual violence, even when that violence happens to children.

I've learned my lesson about people like that. I cut off anyone the FIRST time I hear them defend a sex offender.

A man I once called my stepdad repeatedly tried to debate age of consent with me just out of the blue. "Oh the girls who this happens to are being manipulative, they just want money. The boys, I'd have killed to be them when I was their age."

I for the most part ignored this. I was adopted by a different family, was 21-23 years old, lived on my own for years, barely even knew this man. He and my biological mom were taking care of me when I couldn't do it myself (long story), and I didn't want to lose my home and wind up stranded in the middle of a state I knew nothing about.

Then the guy I was dating cheated on me with a 16 year old. This man has the nerve to say, "This wouldn't have happened if you dated someone older." My mom left him and I left my boyfriend on the spot. It was no tolerance from that point forward.

This is all manipulation. Men want us to constantly bring each other down so that we have no class consciousness. The reality is that they just want to divide women as much as possible so we have no power.

Never bring down other women just because they don’t attend to the male gaze. Men manipulate you into doing this so that we force each other to look attractive to them even when they are not there. Do not subjugate your own class for them.

I honestly have never seen my friends looking ugly. Have they worn clothes that are not my cup of tea? Of course, but my unsolicited opinion is utterly irrelevant.

I’ll point out lipstick on teeth, hole in tights, or skirts trapped in knickers because that’s looking out for somebody. I am never going to tell anyone she’s ugly.
