My initial answer is no, not necessarily. Might even be a positive for many RP men. However, being a homebody doesn’t need to equal being boring. My husband and I spend most of our time at home together, we love being home together, but we’re also having fun together and doing things together.

As a lifelong quiet woman who doesn't have many friends, I'll say the biggest problem with being a homebody when you're young is losing out on building social circles and meeting men. Youth/university years is the time to do this, don't miss out.

If you do meet a guy, a lot of quieter, homebody men definitely won't mind. But these might be the guys who like playing video games for hours or who never want to leave the house, especially as they get older. Make sure you are okay with that.

More active men might be good with a quiet girl too, provided she's open to following his lead to do social stuff. My husband is this kind of guy, and I do think he liked the idea of introducing the quiet girlfriend to a bit of craziness.

Will you get along with very extroverted, life-of-the party guys? Probably not.

I'd say aim for guy type #2 and lean into the "quiet girl who doesn't mind being corrupted a bit" sexual persona. It works, ask me how I know, lol!

A quiet and content homebody is ideal for many men, myself included. That said if you are chasing chads they are not going to be the type to spend most of their time at home.

There’s about a 50:50 split of introverts vs. extroverts. Your lifestyle will be compatible with introverted men. Extroverted men may find your lifestyle too slow-paced and unexciting for them.

The issue is that when you are introverted and do not socialize often, you have much less opportunity to meet someone new. All the men you would be compatible with are probably not going out so often either, and it would be harder to find them even if you were going out.

I am this way. Like everything in life, it’s about how your brand it. Just own it. Say you are an introvert and a homebody out of the gate. If you act embarrassed or ashamed about it, or try to pretend to be much more busy than you are, a man will read that as lack of confidence or dishonesty and be unattracted. If you are upfront and confident about that, this is who you are, it will go much better. There are guys who would want someone very extroverted and not be into it but there are also guys who will not care or see it as a plus, but everyone will be turned off if you are insecure about it.

I myself I’m very extroverted, but I do tend to select for introversion in women, because it results in fewer behavioral issues - ex. less attention-seeking - and I’m actually pretty good at handling introvert communication issues, bc in my family, we are pretty evenly split between extroverts and introverts.

You sound like you have your life pretty much handled or at least under control. What you really want to work on is doing whatever you can to improve your appearance, staying in shape, etc. If you really want to up your RMV – relationship market value – then either learn to cook or improve your cooking skills. That will put you head and shoulders above your competition who only know how to make reservations.

Being a homebody is a good thing usually, and it leads to a more long-term sustainable relationship. You can both be at home without feeling like you're missing out and do what you enjoy, together if you want. Going out means you need to really enjoy doing the same active things and that can be a bit harder to manage (unless you're just a naturally good fit for each other). The best combination is both being homebodies and then having common interests for going out (hiking or restaurants or whatever it is).

No but most men are not homebodies. It becomes an issue if he can't do what he wants with his free time like you can. I'm a homebody and my husband has many outdoor activities he does with his guy friends or by himself. It works fine for us because I get alone time to work on my creative hobbies and he gets to roam. He loves that I don't mind, and all his friends are jealous that I "let him" have hobbies.
