The only way this story becomes humiliating for you is if you are begging her to come back. You have your kid, and really, that is all we need women for. Humilating for her. Nobody, including yourself, can control other people's behavior.

The very fact she has visitation and not custody will tell everybody with any familiarity with divorce or the court system who the bad one was. It's rare and difficult for a male to get custody barring very bad behavior from the female.

Be the good father you are, and think about your liberation from her. Everybody makes mistakes - myself and most in this forum have gone through bad behavior from a spouse/ex-spouse, and some spouses could win an Academy Award for Best Actress with the way they behaved before marriage/before the child versus how they behaved after.

Think about joining a gym or incorporating some physical activity in your day. Just a couple of milk or water gallon jugs can get you started, or some cheap exercise bands, or a 20-30 minute fast pace walk after dinner. Get into meal prepping. Pick up a new hobby, preferably one that is a little physical or outdoors if possible. Or pick up an old one.

Your child needs you and loves you. You're a good dad. Be strong for your child. It will be the most rewarding thing you can do and your child will appreciate it without knowing. Don't speak badly about your ex, always take the high road.
