So, as some of you may know (if not, check my post history) my ex wife moved to Hawaii and a judge ruled that she could relocate our kids.

I have decided to admit defeat. I cannot beat her in this legal system. But my kids need me, and I need them.

Right now, I am about 20k in debt between the lawyers and everything else going on in my life. Money is not coming in as well as it should. That’s on me. I’m in car sales and being in the depression that I’ve been in since all this started has decimated my sales.

The only solution to help my kids is to move to Hawaii. I really see no other choice, and my therapist and psychiatrist have both agreed that moving there is pretty much the only way I’ll start to feel any better.

Obviously that’s a huge financial undertaking, and I have no idea what to do. For the past 3 months, I’ve been in this debt program, basically paying this company to settle all my debts, but that takes time, another year or so, and it includes not paying anything on my debts, so my credit is in the toilet.

If you were in the situation I just described, and knowing that your life depended on moving to Hawaii soon, what would you do?
