Kinda lengthy, some twists along the way. TLDR at bottom.

So I get divorced in 2019. 2 kids. Currently 14 and 11. Both boys. Ex left me for a guy on heroin, which she hid from me until we got back together a few months later. After that I couldn’t forgive her for letting a heroin addict live in the house alone with her and the kids and we divorced. I’ve regretted leaving ever since, but that’s not this story. Next guy she dates, 3 weeks in, he gets arrested for child endangerment. On his own kid not mine. She stays with him for 2 years. He pled guilty. She says he was set up. Idk. I doubt it.

Now to the actual situation I’m in. In January. She meets this guy on tinder. He’s stationed at some military base about 45 minutes away. Nbd. Whatever. But then, 2 weeks into knowing each other, he gets restationed to Hawaii. So he asks her to marry him so she can go with him. She accepts. Tells the kids their moving to Hawaii. WEEKS LATER after my next visitation, she calls me and tells me all of this. Says my visitation will be 2 months in the summer and 3 weeks at Christmas. The end.

Obviously I’m contesting all of this in court. And my lawyer says she’s got a snowballs chance in hell of winning, but I’m sure any lawyer trying to get paid would say that.

My real question is: what type of man expects a woman to move her children to the other side of the planet away from their father who has a strong relationship with his kids?

I’ve asked her several time to have him at least reach out to me to introduce himself to the father of his stepchildren, but have heard nothing. She just ignores me.

What could this guy possibly be thinking? Is he just an incredibly selfish asshole or is she lying to him about my relationship with the kids?

TLDR: wife married a guy less than a month of knowing him to move in with him on base in Hawaii taking my kids with her. Why is he ok with any of this?
