Hello, wife and I are currently getting divorced and going through mediation - hope to have things wrapped up in 3 months. She is not currently asking for alimony, but I can see things potentially getting contentious as we work through this. Some other personal info - we both make really good money. My W2 shows close to 300k, w/ 250 being salary/bonus, the rest is stock. She pulls in about 200k. I've read on-line that there are a lot of factors that go into a judge deciding if alimony is even warranted. Given the fact that she makes good money already - do you think there is any shot that she may successfully get alimony if she were to pursue it?
