Well I can't speak for all women but I detest jerks - rude neggers who are always trying to compete with you or bring you down, "catty men" I call them.

However, a man who can speak up against the populist crowd, is visionary, has a very strong mindset, protective instincts, goes after what he wants is a universally attractive trait in every culture. This is the hero trait, not the jerk trait.

At first glance, heroes may seem like jerks because they're not people pleasers, and appear to do what they want without regard to consensus, but if you delve further, you will find jerks like to bring everyone down, while the hero lifts others up.

Nice guys are essentially jerks in a pretty outfit of passive-aggressiveness lol

I think a lot of times guys are incorrectly designated as jerks simply because they’re not Nice Guys, and that’s the baseline behavior some in society expect of men.

If a guy doesn’t put a girl on pedestal, or place her at the center of his universe, drop everything he has going on to be with her, they’ll be deemed as jerks, when in fact they’re solid guys, just with boundaries and an abundance mindset.

What I find humorous is that while women are more social cue sensitive than men, they become oblivious to the signs that he's a jerk once they get excited by his cockiness/confidence/arrogance.

Bad guys- James Bond villain

Last: Nice guys- Choir boy

On the outside it may come across as confidence, but it’s not the same thing.

Confidence implies competence and ability, your emotion is assured within that power

Power is the ability to take action in a controlled manner.

Confidence is the essence of power.

Confidence is only attractive because women are wired to desire that power.

Power is the most attractive thing in our human minds - both men and women are purely after power in different forms.

Mens attraction for women is heavily tied to femininity, a reflection of female hormones which would reflect fertility, which just so happens to match the ideal 0.7 waist to hip ratio regardless of culture in the world. Mens attraction to her is her power to produce healthy kids.

Women’s attraction to men is his power to protect and provide.

I’m talking absolutely bare bones evolutionary wired attraction. Everything we rationalise over the top of this is just wrapping paper. At the end of the day ALL attraction is about power.

If you don’t have power, you are feigning ability, you will know this, you will feel insecure about it and your confidence will smell like arrogance.

Women are attracted to jerks because on the surface they SEEM like the kind of guy that their inner wiring of attraction is looking for.

Attractive people (men as well as women) can easily be arrogant, because they are constantly validated without ever having to work for it. My theory is that women (and men) are attracted to jerks (or their equivalent counterparts) because they are handsome / hot. Who would you prefer to sh*g? A super intelligent & sweet fatty or a bitch with a beautiful body?

This! Always wondered why women liked assholes and being treated like shit. It just turns out that assholes tend to also have behaviors that women desire. Like Confidence and Assertiveness.
