Everyone saying you should get the police involved. To me, that sounds like a recipe for disaster. She's clearly crazy. You call the cops, you claim she assaulted you. She says she defended herself because you tried to rape her. You get arrested.

Maybe she did that to prove to her boyfriend that she wasn't the one cheating on him and that you invited her to dance (which we know isn't true).

That said, yes, that is definitely assault.

And if the bouncer doesn't throw her out, he's an accessory after the fact, and could not only get the club sued, but lose his job in the process, so he knows he'd better kick her out.

with that single phrase, you can get her in trouble.

It's kinda late for this, but an experience for next experiences.

she assaulted you with no reason, if the club is a serios club, they gonna have cameras for sure, you can press charges if you want too, or just let it go and forget about that terrible situation.

Similar situation happened to a buddy of mine except the girl never spoke to him. Just walked up, tried to dance with him, he said no (he was in a relationship) so she slapped him. Some random lady who was nearby and saw what happened intervened and punched the chick in the gut so hard she started dry heaving
