Feminists love femsplaining masculinity to men and boys. Its part of the narcissism that is deeply entrenched in the feminist culture, and forms an extensive part of feminist literature.

They truely believe that they know what masculinity is, and should be. They also believe that men and boys should be forced to conform to the feminist framing of masculinity. They really are maniacs.

I genuinely think it is very difficult or impossible these days to understand the other gender's lived life experiences because it's just in such a different category like even how things are viewed and even on the individual level it is different. I only offer the male perspective on things and don't pretend to know what women are feeling. Communication is critical.

In theory, anyone can know a topic.

The issue is that feminists reduce men to their supposed feelings (hate, insecurities, etc.), and therein lies the problem: noone really knows others feelings so it's very presumptuous to assume what these are.

This issue would not exist if feminists would not stem their discourse on men's supposed feelings, but on actual facts and actions. But that would be patriarchy already!

It's empowering and consoling to know that it is just coordinated propaganda. Many women will go along with because they get to scapegoat men to their hearts desire at no cost to themselves. Understanding the sexes is difficult enough even IF you are well versed in evolutionary psychology. It's far more difficult without it. Watching people go on about sexual psychology and how men and women are different is like watching pre-schoolers confident in their explanation of something very complicated like how computers work.

This goes back to the feminist adoption of Marxist Standpoint Theory.

For those unfamiliar with standpoint theory, it argues that the oppressed and the oppressors each have their own narratives about the world, their own standpoints. However, the world operates based on the decree of the oppressors rather than the oppressed, and thus the narratives of the oppressors reign supreme. In order to function in a world operating under the assumptions of the oppressor's narrative, the oppressed must become familiar with the oppressor's standpoint, where by contrast, the oppressor has no need to concern himself with the opinions and perspectives of the oppressed. Thus, the oppressed are said to have "epistemic privilege," a good kind of privilege, for they are both aware of their own narratives and the narratives of the other, granting them a more complete perspective.

On its face, this actually isn't entirely insane, but there's a reason I've called standpoint theory "feminism's most hilarious self-own." A huge problem of standpoint theory is that it is so often invoked to claim who is oppressed. "I have epistemic privilege, therefore I know I'm oppressed, therefore I have epistemic privilege, therefore I know I'm oppressed." It's all very circular.

I first became familiar with standpoint theory in a college class I was required to take for my architecture major called "Architectural Theory and Criticism." That class spent 4 weeks talking about race and another about feminism. As you can imagine, it was all presented from a Leftist, feminist perspective. We were required to learn the feminist narrative, no contrary narrative was presented, so who really has epistemic privilege in this scenario?

In short, this phenomenon of "femsplaining" that you've noticed isn't just some vice indulged in by a few unserious internet feminists, it's been adopted by feminist theory and explicitly defended.

I think that men and women feel/experience different things in life due to societal reasons mostly, which causes such differences to occur.

But when a couple for example spends a lot of time together in healthy relationship they close that gap and can understand a lot about the other sex.

Btw this reminds me of TheDadvocate. She has a YouTube channel and she is men's rights activist.

In her videos there are some that are called

"Womansplaining men to women" and "Womansplaining women to men"

And imo, these are good videos to help either sex understand the other.

(Oh and btw, if a person's advice or words are good, then their sex doesn't matter imo)
