I travel full time for work so I go to bars by myself a lot. I’ve found what’s most important is finding the right vibe, and if you go to a bar that’s dead or not a lot of others sitting at the bar that you can make conversation with, your best bet is to bounce to another one.

If you find the right one you can start by just striking up a conversation with anyone. Doesn’t necessarily have to be a girl you’re interested in. Buy someone a drink, play some bar games if they have them, just in general have a good time. It will help relax you and also show to everyone else that you’re fun to be around.

People in general love talking about themselves, the easiest way to start a convo is with a compliment and then introduce yourself and go from there. Make it a genuine compliment though or it'll seem forced, and make sure you're giving off positive energy (fake it til you make it, it really works)

Here's the strategy: - sit at the bar. Or stand at the corner of the bar a couple feet off, in the area where lines usually form - make conversation with the bartender - make conversation with anyone and everyone who comes to sit or stand next to you - if they ask why you are alone, you can tell them you are waiting for a friend. Or tell them your friends were being lame so you're out to have fun and meet new, fun people. - if you have a good conversation with a person (guy or girl), you can offer to buy them a drink - repeat until you find a group that invites you to join them or you meet a girl/her friends that you hit it off with - watch for groups trying to take group photos, and offer to take one for them. Then introduce yourself and hang out with that group as long as they let you.

So what I do when I’m going out solo is to completely detach from any outcomes. I literally go into with the mindset of just mingling.

Start by striking up a conversation with a few dudes. Then go and start talking up fatties.

The idea is you’re socializing. Make observations. Have a shot to calm the nerves. Once a woman has caught your eye, then approach immediately within 3 seconds. Don’t hesitate.

By far the hardest part about this is just putting yourself out there. Game gets easier the more you practice.

To be honest I feel you are being disingenuous to yourself. You stated you are uncomfortable in these settings. You need to work on your self confidence more before grasping the cold approach in these settings. These settings are notoriously loud, and often you will find low quality women. Go to a nice hotel lounge for a good vibe once you shed 10-15 lbs, pick out a nice dress shirt and slacks and start with the bartender in a casual conversation. Come in with you are here for business and only in town one night. Get yourself a 6-8/10

Depends on your goal. Sometimes taking yourself to the bar is just a nice place to go that isn’t home. Sometimes it’s good to feel independent like that and feel totally confident in NOT needing to be with someone else. Just yourself.

i go to bars alone in NYC too.

it’s difficult. people give all sorts of advice but IRL a lot of it falls flat, mostly because women aren’t into you or find you attractive

i usually sit at the bar where it’s busy and people order drinks and chat with anyone near me. 99.99% of the time they’ll talk to you for 5-10 mins it takes for them to order and pay, then walk off and never be seen again.

it’s much harder to impossible to find anyone interested in me enough to continue chatting and number close

some will give you instas and they’ll quickly unfollow or you’ll get number but they don’t respond

can do everything right too and get no results

i just go with no outcome in mind now and expect rejection

in a night i night talk to lots of girls and come out empty handed for weeks on end

Pubs and bars are different from poppin night clubs, you gotta find the right venue, lots of single girls around, usually they'll go out with their friends and hope some guy can sweep them off their feet, this is where you come in. Approach and enjoy yourself, talk to women, be confident, walk slowly give her space and use mystery method, getting to sex is a 3 part process, the first is attraction, second comfort, and lastly hence our sub name seduction. Work your conversation level up. Talk to everyone that you meet, no matter what. Cashiers, workers, gals, guys, etc. just get into the mode of making conversation.

If you aint someone that talks to anyone this is when you need to go out of your comfort zone.. nothing will happen if you dont talk to anyone..

Practice.. talk to waitress, waiter they are paid to be nice someone beside you.. guy or girl… doesnt matter.. talk to anyone.. order a drink.. nothing too much.. bounce to another bar if atmosphere or crowd isnt good.. chat up more waitresses at other bars.. bounce around.. talk around get into the mood..

Its probably better to start off when the bar is less busy to talk with the waitress or waiter when you are first starting off.. once you can get yourself talking then later on you can get into more busy places and talk with people around you..
