You gotta stop thinking in terms of what to say as if there is some magical script or response to get her to drop her panties and start thinking of framework. There is a framework to the set that is all. Approach, build comfort, find out logistics, escalate/build sexual tension, handle objections, close. What you say matters far less than how you say it, your body language, aka your vibe, and how you frame it.

Asking for her name should come after you have built some comfort/rapport. That is the reason you want to know her name and she wants to know yours. You have established the chemistry to make name exchanging potentially worth the effort.

Try this exercise: talk to someone without asking them questions. Anyone, doesn't matter. Just get into the habit of not asking questions.

Instead of asking "what's your name?", say instead: "hi, my name is ... ", reach out your hand, and wait for their response.

If they don't respond you can just walk away.

In general you want to avoid asking questions, because it doesn't actually generate conversation unless it's a deep question, and you're not gonna get to those early in a conversation.

Work on making statements and commentary, making statements that they might agree with or even disagree with .

Instead of "why do you feel that way? " you should say "it's unexpected that you feel that way."

This method of conversation requires a lot of practice, but once you get used to that style of speaking, I think you'll find that you engage more with people and build rapport more quickly.

“What to say” is very broad, there’s thousands of ways of “what to say”, or more like openings. Just like there’s no pickup lines, there’s no “what to say”, it’s not something you memorize.

Because it all depends on many things, like either night or day game, or whether there’s someone you know in her group, whether it’s an event like a party or a club, or whether there are some guys in her group, or it’s just random hit in a mall. Everything you say when approaching her is as fluid as these variables. Even if there’s only one variable removed/added, it turns into a different set you definitely would say different things in different settings.

I usually lead with “Hi my name is ____, thought you had a nice vibe to you. What’s your name?” After she replies with said name, depending where we’re at I’ll ask “Are you from here?” Or “What brings you to (the place you both are at)?” Cool, now tell her why you’re there and then ask for her #/Ig and see if you can catch up later. I keep interactions at clubs short because most of the time the woman is there with her friends to have fun with them and unless you have friends with you on the approach to keep her friends occupied you might get shot down trying to hold her attention for a long period of time.

A good opener will make the other person want to talk to you, so the idea that "what you say doesn't matter" is BS, because it matters a lot. It can make the difference between having a conversation because your opener is interesting or being rejected in seconds because you have nothing to say and it becomes awkward.

In a club/bar/event, I prefer to open with a push-pull: "Hey, you're really cute, but ..... you look 18 / you talk (laugh) loud / you look bored (tipsy) / you're short (tall) / you drink leonade (smoothie)/ you look like my twin sister because you have this XYZ color like my t-shirt (if XYZ is the color of your t-shirt)/ you look like a spy (if she's dressed in black)/ you looked at the bartender, I guess you like him...... (there are endless possibilities to create a push-pull).

Such a sentence will make the other person talk to you and usually she will ask you "why you are saying so?" and now you come up with a silly reason (it doesn't matter if it's not a logical reason, just have something to answer - this is a routine I used four years ago:"because at first glance you look like this...but I don't know you, so maybe I'm wrong...but your eyes are very expressive (I bet you're a bad liar) and I think I can guess your work just by looking at you...you must work in science, because ....I feel a chemistry right now hahaha...."

What's next is to find out who she's here with, and in case she doesn't mention her boyfriend, you can say your name. What's next? Find out where she comes from, how she gets home (taxi/own car/walk), who she is here with....things like that. (because if she has nothing to do later and maybe tomorrow is a free day for her, she is in this place to have fun... well... everything looks good, maybe it will be an instant date, or you can even go to a hotel room, who knows?
